“Wan Chai,” which literally means “a cove,” is a place on the coastline of Hong Kong Island. We traced the coastline by picking up found objects from the ground and imprinting their shadows onto silk making them relics of their time through the process of Cyanotype, hence creating a Blueprint of Wan Chai.

「ワンチャイ」は、文字通り「入り江」を意味し、香港島の海岸に位置しています。私たちは、地面から見つけた物を拾い、その影をシルクに印刷することで海岸線を辿り、それらをシアノタイプのプロセスを通じて時の遺物として作り出し、ワンチャイの青写真を作成しました。
