Spring of Living Water 生ける水の春

The three-part installation draws inspiration from the university’s heritage of Baptism. Through the glass droplets in the lawn area, audiences are spatially invited into the plaza, where they can see the subtle writings on the wall mimicking a beam of light. Under the wall, an immersive experience of baptism under water awaits, where people can see the changing colors of light as they are reflected and refracted from the set of seven glass disks.

この三部構成のインスタレーションは、大学のバプテスマの伝統からインスピレーションを受けています。芝生エリアのガラスの滴を通じて、観客は広場に招かれ、壁に描かれた微細な文字が光のビームを模しているのを目にします。その壁の下では、水中でのバプテスマの没入体験が待っており、七つのガラスディスクから反射・屈折する光の色の変化を楽しむことができます。
